Why Ammonia free?
Ammonia is a common ingredient in traditional hair dyes because the alkaline elements of the chemical open up the hair cuticle allowing the color to penetrate. However, it can also be harsh on the hair and scalp, causing dryness and irritation. Our products use healthier alternatives that minimize damage to the hair.

Why Free from PPDs?
When you check the labels on hair products and see "PPDs" it refers to para-phenylenediamine, a chemical commonly used as a dye in hair coloring products. In addition to coloring your hair, PPDs can cause allergic reactions and skin sensitivities, leading to itching, rashes, and other adverse effects.

Why Resorcinol Free?
Resorcinol is a chemical compound that is often used in hair dyes and certain skin care products as a colorant and in formulations used to treat skin conditions like acne and eczema. Resorcinol acts as a dye and works by breaking down hair keratin and facilitating the coloring process.
